Ah, Zhuge Liang. Cunning in military strategy, adept in diplomacy, thoroughly educated in the classics, witty in conversation, totally relaxed under life-threatening pressure, politically savvy, impossible to emotionally manipulate, and amazingly loyal to his chosen lord to boot.
Words cannot express how much I love this guy.
Of course, Luo Guanzhong is probably exaggerating his role in historical events, and my emotional attachment to these characters represents the "Romance" (演義) part of this book, despite some mistaken attempts in the past to classify it as history.
