I love to read and can get very attached to my opinions, but recently I've been learning not to completely lose my head when people disagree with me, so feel safe to argue with me whenever you wish ;) 






Anyone who struggled with playing a musical instrument in their childhood, as I certainly did, should read this.


This is also, I see now—now that I am lucky enough to teach students myself—the special, personal curse of the teacher: not always to see the student absorb what was taught. The teacher, like Moses, is destined not to be there at the final moment: not to be there, in the land itself, when the student finally understands.
